The Chesapeake Virginia Wine Festival is the largest fund raising activity held by the Chesapeake Rotary Club. Rotarians contribute thousands of hours to make this fund raising event a success as well as spend time in the community participating in projects funded. Each year numerous charities are selected as recipients of the net proceeds of the Wine Festival

Over $6,000 worth of coats and clothing are donated each year to needy students annually at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Chesapeake
promotes food recovery; acquires and distributes food, clothing and related products; and provides community leadership and education
helps prevent homelessness. By providing tangible resources to families in crisis, we help families avoid homelessness, eviction or essenital utility cutoff.
Have painted and repaired over 500 Chesapeake homes of the elderly and disabled. Over 450 volunteers annually pariticpate.
